Strict mode is designed for situations where plain-text portability matters. In addition to hidden-character and whitespace cleanup, it converts curly quotation marks, typographic apostrophes, en/em dashes, and ellipses into simpler plain-text equivalents.
The browser cleaner processes text locally and supports inputs up to 1,000,000 characters.
